So much good has poured into my life since my last testimony was printed in 1964 that I am compelled to express my gratitude again.
Soon after our first child was born, I had a serious hemorrhage that was healed in one treatment with the help of a Christian Science practitioner. However, until a little over a year ago I had not fully erased the fear of bleeding to death. Several serious hemorrhages occurred in the intervening years. They were always connected with a pregnancy, so I did not recognize the fear for what it was. In each case Christian Science treatment was sought, and was effective.
Then, several years ago the condition occurred once more in a severe form so that I lost consciousness. For the first time this left me very weak, and there were many months of recovery. All through this period I had the staunch help of a practitioner. Through her gentle guidance I was led to recognize a certain disobedience on my part to the teachings of Christian Science. I slowly regained strength by striving to be obedient in every way that I knew.
