Testimonies of Healing
From my earliest recollection I was religiously inclined, and I had a standard of pure living to which I tried to attain. As I grew into young womanhood, however, I was influenced to do things of which I did not approve, and found myself in one continuous round of gaiety.
I am happy to express my gratitude for the benefits which my family, including myself, have received through Christian Science. My grandmother had a stroke of paralysis whereby she lost the use of the right arm, and the physician said that the trouble would extend over the entire body.
I cannot find words to express my gratitude for the good which has come to me through the power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science. About six years ago I was operated on for a malignant growth of the breast.
A few years ago, when there seemed to be very little to live for, owing to many discordant conditions in my home life, to say nothing of physical suffering, I was led through the loving thought of a friend to look into Christian Science. Although I have not found the pathway of Science strewn with roses, I have known only peace and hope and joy.
I have much for which to be thankful, but when I try to tell of my blessings I hardly know where to begin. My first acquaintance with Christian Science was not the result of my own need for healing, but a dear friend for whom it had done much brought it to my attention.
I am very grateful for the benefits which Christian Science has brought me. I have been healed of pleurisy and stomach trouble, from which I suffered severely at frequent intervals for many years.
