Testimonies of Healing
For some time I have desired to add my word of thanks for the great benefits I have received from Christian Science. The study was not taken up for a physical healing, although that seemed to be very much needed, but I was searching earnestly for a religion that was satisfying and practical.
When a member of my family wrote me from Saxony about Christian Science in 1921, it was the first time I had ever heard of this religion. I was at once very much interested in it and made use of the address given me to learn more about it.

It is with a heart full of joy and gratitude that I submit this testimony. When I first heard of Christian Science I had been deaf for four years.
Over seven years ago I was healed of Bright's disease through Christian Science. I had been under the care of a physician who did not give me much encouragement, remarking, "Your condition is such that you need not expect very much help.
Christian Science was accepted in my family at a time of great need. My mother was completely healed of a severe nervous breakdown after all medical resources had failed, and she is now more active, stronger, and happier than ever before.
I feel I owe a great debt of gratitude for the teachings of Christian Science. I have had many wonderful healings, some instantaneous and some gradual.
It is indeed a joy to express gratitude for Christian Science. I shall always feel deeply indebted to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
