Testimonies of Healing

I wish to express my very sincere gratitude for the many blessings that have come to my family and to me through the study and application of the truth as taught in Christian Science. The past few years have been the testing time for all of us and have been filled with trials and struggles.

It would be impossible to tell of all the benefits I have experienced in Christian Science, which has met my every need since babyhood. It has been a source of help and protection in every way, and physical disturbances have been comparatively few and quickly healed.

I am sincerely grateful for Christian Science. It has brought to me a satisfying explanation of existence, and such joy and happiness as I have never before experienced.

Twenty-one years elapsed from the time I attended school until I re-entered in the summer of 1931. Two years before this I did correspondence work, and at the same time began teaching in a public school for the first time.

I should like to give thanks for a healing which took place several years ago. I was in business at the time I was taken ill and as it was necessary because of business requirements to send in a certificate for absence, I went to see a medical man.

I am very grateful to acknowledge the healing efficacy of Christian Science as related in the above testimony. I can truthfully indorse all that my wife has said about the healing of what seemed to be a fatal illness.

Christian Science came to us in an hour of dire need, when a loved one was very ill with pernicious anæmia, which several physicians said would prove fatal. A Christian Science practitioner was consulted and work was lovingly taken up, with the result that in the course of several months a change for the better was very noticeable.

My heart is full of gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me during fifteen years' study of this wonderful truth. Four years ago I was healed of a birthmark as large as my whole hand spread out.

Christian Science came into my life when the doctors had given me a limited time to live; heart disease, intestinal trouble, and nervous prostration had made me a semi-invalid, and I had lost faith in medicine. While I did not realize it at the time, my healing began when I expressed a willingness to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I am unspeakably grateful for the practical truths revealed through Christian Science. My family had relied completely on this Science for about ten years, and our only child had always attended the Sunday school; but while I considered Christian Science a wonderful religion, I felt it advantageous to have medical attention for this child and myself when an occasion presented itself.
