I am joyous to be able to tell of the healing power of Christian Science. Since the day I was led to this Science it has never failed me or my loved ones, and at no time have I ever found it necessary to use any material remedy. Never a day goes by but Christian Science unfolds its truths to us and blesses us in some way.
We have a six-year-old daughter, who has never taken any medicine. Recently she was healed of scarlet fever. For two days the child was practically unconscious. A physician was called in and the case was reported, as required by law, but the child was healed through Christian Science treatment.
Another healing was experienced by a loved one who, while working on one engine, fell backwards over part of another one. He was able to drive home alone after several hours, although seemingly the spine was fractured. Christian Science treatment was started immediately. The rules of the plant and the insurance company demand that a physician be called. This was done, the report being given that the cartilege which holds the two bones together at the end of the spine was torn away, and the bone structure also bruised, and that he would always walk duck-fashion, because no material remedy could heal or even help such a condition. After a week of Christian Science treatment, this dear one was walking as straight as ever, completely healed. X rays taken at the end of two weeks proved that everything was normal.
