Testimonies of Healing
[Original in German] In the year 1934, a friend in Buenos Aires called our attention to Christian Science. I took up its study and learned to understand the spiritual law of Love and Truth.

Over forty-five years ago my need for physical healing was very great. Medical science offered me surgery but no guarantee of healing.
I had an experience in the chemical manufacturing business not unlike that of Joseph in the Bible, but with a modern-day setting. In 1952, as a young chemical engineer with a major oil company, I prepared to enter a business of my own that would utilize certain refinery by-products.
[Original in Swedish] I shall never forget my first healing in Christian Science, when I was a young girl. I had heard about Christian Science shortly before from a sister who had met some Christian Scientists in Switzerland.
Late in the nineteenth century when my grandparents were in great need of help, a neighbor gave them a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
Christian Science has been the leading light of my experience throughout a wonderful lifetime. Two other testimonies of my healing experiences have been published in the Christian Science periodicals in the past, but I wish to express gratitude for an added blessing.
Since 1959, when my first testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel, I have enjoyed many blessings through the study of Christian Science. I should like to relate how the sustaining power of this religion supported me during the last five years when I suddenly found myself alone and confronted with difficult business problems.
I am very grateful for the many healings my family and I have had during past years as a result of relying solely on the teachings of Christian Science. Some of these healings were related in a testimony published in the Journal in January, 1966.
In December two years ago I suddenly contracted a disease of the respiratory tract and other organs. I was not able, as in previous simpler cases, to master this error with my own prayer.
