Testimonies of Healing

Christian Science has been my only physician for many years. It has brought me numerous blessings, and I am indeed grateful to testify to its healing power.

When I arose one morning about four years ago I found difficulty in walking. One knee was greatly swollen and inflamed.

In the past fifteen years the members of our family have had many healings and other blessings through Christian Science. One healing which is outstanding to me took much longer than any other in my experience.

It is with a heart full of gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. I am deeply grateful to God, the Giver of all good, for the many blessings and healings I have received since taking up the study of Christian Science.

In the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read ( p.

" Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" ( Ps. 107:2 ).

Christian Science has helped me for nearly thirty years. Although I have had many healings, my greatest gratitude is for an understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him.

During my childhood and young womanhood I knew nothing of Christian Science, because my parents were bitterly opposed to what they believed it to be. I am glad to state that they both were later healed of this opposition.

I began the study of Christian Science at a time when I had searched many philosophies and had rebelled against all my former teachings. I was at a point of utter despair and despondency.

I am grateful for Christian Science and for the many healings I have had, but the one which I am most grateful for is that of an illness for which I had been taking medicine for seven years. Although I had been attending a Christian Science church for four months, I was still using medicine.
