Testimonies of Healing

The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have been so helpful to me over a period of fifteen years that I feel urged to add mine as a proof that the truth, even when understood only in a small degree, does heal. When Christian Science found me I was in ill-health, living in a very severe climate under most difficult circumstances, and in surroundings utterly antagonistic to Truth.

Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health ( p.

" Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. " During the ten years that I have been a student of Christian Science I have had many proofs that it heals and regenerates.

When I was four years old my parents became students of Christian Science, so I have known little else. Thanks to its healing power, which was constantly demonstrated in our home, I have much for which to be grateful.

In the autumn of 1941 I was suddenly taken ill and was rushed to a hospital. After a few days the doctors pronounced my case a very serious bladder condition, for which I should have to undergo an operation.

I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings Christian Science has brought into my life. With the help of practitioners it has met my every need over a period of many years.

It would be impossible to express in words alone my unbounded gratitude for Christian Science and for what it has done for me. I realize that gratitude must be expressed in service and in daily living.
